A professional Mac blogger who I respect, whose site I read regularly, and whose software I use every day, has gotten into something of a nerd fight with the company I work for. It started with a snarky jab, but now both sides have made long blog posts about it.

On one hand, almost everyone who has commented at our blog (his doesn’t have a comment form) has taken our side and said that he was too harsh. That gives me hope that it really was just a misunderstanding and everything will be fine. On the other hand, he has specifically insulted the product that has been my main job for the last year or so. I’m so used to rooting for this guy when he’s taking people to task for dishonesty or irresponsibility, I don’t know what to do when he calls my own work an over-designed monster.

What can I do? I think situations like this are why they invented :(.
