I finally put in Hotel Dusk: Room 215 yesterday, and ended up playing it all evening. It summons up almost the same feeling as the old MacVenture games from my childhood, which is a very, very good thing. Once again, Nintendo’s localization team has gone way beyond the baseline of quality to deliver something that would be great for a game originally written in English, let alone one that was localized. I’d like to know who wrote the English version; they deserve some kind of trophy.
