At Piroko’s request, I have made the following customizations to my life:
- 2 hours before bed time, I stop using electronics. Instead of working on the Mac or playing PS2, I take a bath, clean up the apartment, or sort through my inbox. This has been a pleasant and relaxing change. It is much easier to get to sleep now that I have some quiet time first.
- I’m using Cha-Ching to keep a budget. No longer will I buy every item that seems attractive, just because I feel like I can afford it. Indeed, by the new budget, I could maybe go out to eat once, and buy one video game, per month. This is going to be a real challenge. At least there’s a fun and attractive app to keep me interested in staying true to the plan.
